Lucas (Kasey) has just been released from prison.
He unexpectedly enters an arranged marriage with Emma (Autumn Joy Noel) who is initially put off by his playboy ways. Over time, they develop feelings for each other, and Lucas ends up being her only defense against a family who is out for blood.
